of NANI wastes nothing of what surrounds it. His creative process works like a network that unites fragments of his mind and the work produced by other artists. From these scraps, the Brazilian artist sets out to create her own compositions.
These are works full of purpose - because nothing appears by chance from the artist's perspective - and symbols, such as the monkey that is present, explicitly and implicitly, in several of NANI's canvases. The ape functions as a totem representing the unconscious, wisdom, joy and agility.
The artist's compositions encompass painting and digital drawing, that is, they combine art and design. de NANI participated in the world paper art festival in Slovenia (2000, 2001, 2002), and the Chapingo Biennial in Mexico (2008).
