Ilka Lemos

llka Benez Brandão Lemos was born in Araçatuba, São Paulo, in 1957.

He studied drawing and painting with Ângela Anzel, Art History with Arnaldo Filho and in 89 he studied in New York and Washington.

Present in the city of São Paulo from 97 onwards, he joined the studio of Sergio Fingerman, one of the most important names on the Brazilian art scene, where he remained for four years.

In 99 he participated in the Biennial Meeting, directed by Agnaldo Farias, at the Oscar Americano Foundation.

Ilka Lemos has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Brazil and abroad.
