Juan Mane Checa was born in Barcelona, ​​but chose the Caribbean to express his art, following the daily lives of popular people in its extremes.

A painter who believes that painting is a “state of mind”. 

Driven by expressionism, figurativism and abstractionism, Juan creates drawings with an ethnic touch, striking colors and surrealism. 

On his journey through the tropics he seeks expressionism with color, “tropical” rhythm and subtlety. An artist who associates art with emotion, and the total opposite of physical and material.
