Duílio Fonda is an Argentine artist who was born in 1959 in the La Boca neighborhood of Buenos Aires. He studied at the Otto Krause National College of Technical Education and participated in workshops by artists such as Alberto Jaime, Mario Mosteiro, Aldo Grau, Fredy Martinez Howard and Miguel Caride in the 70s and 80s.
Fonda's artistic tendency has its roots in the Rioplatense constructivist school, which was influenced by the work of Uruguayan artist Joaquín Torres García and had a significant impact in Argentina and Uruguay. Over time, he diversified his techniques and experimented with abstract expressionism and post-avant-garde.
Currently, Duílio Fonda lives and works in Buenos Aires, where he continues to create his art. He teaches and paints in various cultural spaces in the city, showing his evolution as a visual artist and his commitment to promoting culture and art in Argentina.
