Cusco Rebel

Cusco Rebel is a 40-year-old self-taught and multidisciplinary visual artist, born in Rio Grande do Sul and currently based in Porto Alegre. With work inspired by the world of skateboarding and the streets, his creations mix elements of the city, architecture and obstacles with the personality and color of his loose ideas. He works with a variety of techniques, including spray painting and acrylic paint, stenciling, collage and assembly.

Cusco has already carried out work for several brands, including Toddy, Sprite, Converse, Passport, Devassa and Pepsi. He is also an art director at the production company Mundo.ag and a teacher in two courses related to creativity at the Perestroika school, present in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Rio Grande do Sul. With more than a decade of work, Cusco has already produced more than thousand works, going beyond urban limits and penetrating into scenography, environmental and product design projects.

Its trademark is the peculiar skulls and mystical indigenous feathers, which are recognized throughout the world. His work stands out not only in Brazil, but also in other countries such as the United States, Argentina and Uruguay. Cusco Rebel is considered one of the most respected names in Brazilian street art.
