Adhemar Duro

Adhemar Duro is a Brazilian photographer who treats the distant paradises of Earth with affection. In his photographs, he recovers, through many hours of work and sleepless nights, the magnitude of earthly beauty that is far from the spotlight of the big city. 

The artist's portfolio includes, for example, stunning natural landscapes from Patagonia, as well as mesmerizing stars that populate the sky of one of the driest deserts in the world, the Atacama, in Chile. 

A lover of travel and specialist in astrophotography, Adhemar Duro was selected, in 2014, to be an ambassador for one of the most prominent astronomical research institutions in the world, the European Southern Observatory.
