Artist Democrart: Ludwig Favre is a finalist for the Hasselblad prize

Our newly arrived French artist Ludwig Favre is among the finalists for Hasselblad's Masters Awards 2018 , one of the most important distinctions in photography in the world.

Ludwig Favre competes in the “Architecture” category with a beautiful photograph inside the huge Parisian department store Le Bon Marché.

The award-winning photographer brings a sublime look at architecture, privileging the essence of the places he passes through and always seeking to photograph “majestic” spaces.

From the emblematic Grand Rex cinema in Paris to the historic Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève, one of the largest and most beautiful libraries in the world, also located in Paris.

Ludwig FAVRE currently works with Canon and Leica and has done work for other major brands such as Instagram, L'Oréal and MSN. His name has also appeared in several global publications such as Vogue, Marie Claire, Fubiz and Elle.

The ten best photographers in each category – elected by the public – will be selected for the technical selection of Hasselblad's Masters Awards 2018. The winners will be announced in September next year in the city of Cologne, Germany.
