Guilherme Wentz
1987 — Guilherme Wentz is born on July 17, in the city of Caxias do Sul, in Rio Grande do Sul, where he spent his entire youth.
2008 — Guilherme drops out of the Business Administration course to start a new creative life studying Product Design.
2010 — Begins his career as a designer at the Riva objects brand, where he works for two years.
2012 — Recently graduated, receives the IDEA Brasil award for his first product on the market, the Officer desk, developed for the São Paulo brand Decameron.
2013 — Receives the iF Design Award for his second signed project, the K for Riva Collection, sets up his studio and starts designing for different brands of furniture, lamps and objects.
2014 — Moves the studio to São Paulo, takes on the Style Directorship of the Decameron and Carbono brands and is invited to a project commissioned by the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art.
2016 — Joins businessman Rafael Gehrke to launch his first independent collection, called "Capítulo 1", which in its first year was already available in some of the main designer stores in Brazil and the United States. In the same year he was named "Rising Talent" by Maison&Objet Americas and received the Museu da Casa Brasileira and iF Design Awards, both for Luminária UM, developed for Lumini.
2017 — Named "Rising Talent" at the Casa Vogue Awards. One of his projects, the Post-Tropical Vase , is acquired for the permanent collection of the Lisbon Design and Fashion Museum.
2018 — Wentz is named by the New York Times T Magazine as one of the "6 Rising Studios of the Americas."
